A symbol reborn
Araba Fenice

Dalla rinascita di un bene confiscato alla criminalità nasce un centro per la vita delle famiglie.

Context and History

In Pavarolo, at Via San Sebastiano 21/b, a building once linked to organized crime has been transformed into a place of community, listening, and growth..
This is how Araba Fenice was born:a new multifunctional center dedicated to children, young people, and families, made possible thanks to the support of the Piedmont Region and the PNRR – Next Generation EU. Piedmont Region e del PNRR – Next Generation EU.
A name that speaks for itself: the phoenix rising from the ashes, just like this space, which has evolved from a negative symbol into a stronghold of legality and hope

Project

The Municipality of Pavarolo has repurposed a confiscated building to create a multifunctional center for family services.
Today, the ground floor hosts Araba Fenice, an open, welcoming, and dynamic space where people can meet, share experiences, and receive professional support.
On the upper floors, the town’s first public nursery is taking shape, providing an essential service for new generations and local parents.

The Araba Fenice project is more than just a construction initiative, it is an act of civic regeneration.
Every space tells a story of redemption: from a place of illegality to a hub for gathering, growth, and solidarity.
It is a center where families, associations, and institutions work together to build a stronger, more aware, and supportive community.
